On December 6, Errol Spence will collide with Danny Garcia for the IBF and WBC welterweight titles. The 12-round bout will take place in Arlington, Texas, and will determine the winner.
The 30-year old boxer of Jamaican descent remained unbeaten in all his 26 fights. His knockout percentage is 80%. However, in his most recent fight in September last year, Spence almost lost to Shawn Porter. He managed to win by split decision.
In October 2019, the young boxer got into a car accident, when his Ferrari 488 flipped multiple times and ejected the driver. Fortunately, Spence sustained lacerations, but no broken bones. So, soon we will see him inside the ring.
Although Garcia is only 2 years older than Spence, he had 12 more fights, making it 38 in total. However, he cannot boast about being unconquerable, as in March 2017, Garcia was defeated by Keith Thurman and in September 2018 he lost the WBC title fight to Shawn Porter. By the way, one year later, the above mentioned Errol Spence defeated Porter and took the belt.
Garcia’s last fight was against Ivan Redkach in January 2020, which Danny won by unanimous decision.
Danny Garcia got his nickname for being fast and active in the ring. However, his knockout percentage is only 58%.
Both boxers have impressive lists of achievements. So, any of them may become the champion on the 6th of December.
Melbet offers good odds of 4.26 on Garcia’s victory and of 1.24 on Spence’s triumph. Obviously, unbeaten Errol is the favourite of the upcoming bout. He is younger and has a larger arm span.
